Ibiza, 1989 – A dream begins…Pepe Roselló presents Space, a new club concept which would revolutionise the whole World´s dance club scene, a dream which blasted Ibiza island to the number one holiday destination for clubbers around the entire planet, giving them the opportunity to dance and party during the day at the sound of the best DJ´s of the time, an unprecedented concept until then; this is how Space was born, Pepe´s gift to the World. One of the most important clubs in the World, which, combined with the visionary and modern attitude of its founder, created the myth of a Club that it is today - recognised as one of the most modern and fascinating venues on Earth. The 6 areas which compose the clubs surface give scope to all genres of electronic dance music, of course, always with the most renowned Dj´s and producers of the national and international scene.

Ibiza, 2010- the most awarded club on the planet celebrates its 21st anniversary and to conmemorate this achievement, we have prepared a great party for Friday, August 13th, within the programming of BE, which above all, pursues musical variety - offering the best dance music, innovative shows and performances and an excellent service to all our clients, so that one may taste the magic of Ibiza´s nightlife on its most representative dance floor.

Starring:

MANDY (LIVE): the German duo formed by Patrick Bodmer and Philipp Jung will be offering us their LIVE set. One of the most acclaimed and awaited, after having blown away dance floors Worldwide, as well as, with their productions published under own record label, Get Phisical!. An opportunity to vibrate to the hottest electronic sounds heard on dance floors today.

BOOKA SHADE: Another duet, formed by Walter Merziger and Arno Kammermeier which jumped straight into the charts in 2005 with hit productions that soon became clasics, such as “Body Language”, “Mandarine Girl” and a demolishing debut album tagged as “Memento”. They have ever since become exceptional remixers as well as creators of one of the most powerful live sets within the electronic music scene.
The two Francfort scene veterans, today established in Berlin and fully dedicated to taking electro-house to the next level, will be delighting us with their magnificent DJ set.

FRANÇOIS K: The most representative French producer on dance floors around the globe for many years now, currently established in New York, holds great hits under his belt like Cesaria Evora´s 1997 remix, “Sangue de Beirona”. Once again he will bring an amazing musical repertoire to Space, demonstrating how classics can be re-invented over and over again.

SEBASTIEN LEGER: The acclaimed French DJ and producer will be visiting us once again within his World Tour, and after having released knockout tracks like “Hit Girl”, “Hypnotized” and “Aqualight” in the past few years, to demonstrate us his good shape, musically speaking of course. He defines himself somewhere between Funk and Techno, which gives us an idea of his wide repertoire, highlighting the power and energy of his sessions.

ARADO: Duesseldorf based DJ and producer, internationally renowned after having called Loco Dice´s attention, who launched under his own label DESOLAT, the acclaimed hit “Uganda Express”. He will be returning to Space Ibiza to surprise us once again with the energy radiated by his sessions, his extraordinary technique and his productions, which are regulars in todays most recognised DJ sets such as that of Marco Carola or Luciano.

WALLY LOPEZ: Our most internationally awarded DJ and resident at BE every Friday. He holds a wide and productive career, both as a DJ and as a producer, with breathtaking remixes in cooperation with artists like Tiesto, Valentino Kanzyani, Dirty Vegas, Robbie Rivera, Bob Sinclair or David Guetta. He has taken his music to all the corners of the planet exhibiting it in festivals Worldwide. He even opened for Madonna in her concert in Seville in 2008.

JAIME ALGUERSUARI: The youngest Formula 1 driver, currently running for the Toro Rosso Team, will be visiting us to demonstrate his Djing skills full of deep progressive and tribal sounds. In this occasion he will be playing back-to-back with Wally Lopez.

ELIO RISO: Also known Worldwide as Ibiza´s Tech-House ambassador. He is one of the most experienced residents at Space Ibiza. The Italo-Argentinean DJ and producer takes part in the most significant events at Space, on top of being a BE resident.

REMO: One of Space Ibiza´s latest arrivals, proceeding directly from Italy. DJ and producer inclined towards House and Techno ranging between melodical sets to the darkest sounds. Resident at BE and break-through artist in the last couple of years.

NANO VERGEL: Nano, founder of Podenco Recordings, ilustruous DJ and producer who digs into the deepest sounds of electronic music. His sets are full of soul and melody driving his audience to dance frenzies.

RICKZOR (live): Another Ibizan young talent, who is demonstrating the high level of his productions through impressive live sets, as far as electronic music is concerned. Thrilling and overpowering beats created live for the dancefloor and the crowd.

M2M: A completely new concept brought to you by Space Ibiza, particularly concieved and designed for our RED BOX area, which will be converted into a musical laboratory in which analogic equipment, nowadays in disuse, will once again take protagonism through an espectacular set up and experimental performance developed by Hugo Quintanilla, Xiki Sanjuan and Willie Buetas, who under the anonym M2M (Mondays-to-Mondays) will exhibit their skills during the month of August at BE.

OSCAR CANO: Ibiza based producer and remixer, Space resident for over 8 years and founder of E-Ibiza Digital Records. He offers high quality sets ranging between Tech House and Electro House.

RAMON CASTELLS: Another Space resident since 2004, achieving great accomplishments with his sets and productions full of positivity and good vibrations.

Pablo Kopanos, Cafe Ole’s resident dj at Space Ibiza has won the DeejayMag winner for Best REVELATION 2010 DJ of the prestigious awards, granted by Deejay magazine on 2 February at the Venue Ron Barceló Deejaymags 2010 at La Riviera in Madrid.

With this award, Pablo Kopanos consolidates its position and trajectory getting one of his objectives in 2010. This well-deserved and prestigious award certainly is dedicated to all fans of Café Olé Space Ibiza and thanks to their votes and their unconditional support made it possible.
