SPACE WAREHOUSE: A NEW PLACE TO VISIT

Pepe Rosello and Carl Cox have gathered this morning - around 10 am - with local media and specialized in electronic music. The reason for the press call was no other than the inauguration of the new Space Warehouse, a multipurpose space and open to the public.

Space Warehouse becomes a museum, where the visitor can admire historical pieces of the club, buy official merchandising of Space and of course, to remember the history of the most awarded club in the world. A perfect space to bet on culture and leisure, but always with music as a common thread.

"This new space reminds the history of Space with photos, personal memories, collective, artistic, lights and sound stuff, chairs, tables ... and of course keeps Space alive" Pepe Roselló.

As Carl Cox is on the island, Pepe Roselló wanted to have his presence and to render - once again - a tribute to one of the most significant DJs for the Space family. "Carl never left and I do not think he will ever leave," Roselló said during the press conference.

For his part, Carl Cox has highlighted how happy he feels to be back on the island, because he loves Ibiza, his people and his spirit and above all, has made him really happy to come today  with Pepe and know that the Spirit of Space will continue alive.

Space On Tour in Alicante: A SUCCESS!

Space On Tour was this weekend in a new edition of the Spring Festival, specifically, last Saturday 20th May. The festival takes place in the port of Alicante and this May has held its ninth edition.

The festival, which had two stages with very different atmospheres, remained full since the early hours of the afternoon. In one of the stages played some of the best groups in the Spanish landscape as Love of Lesbian, Fuel Fandango, Sandness or Viva Suecia. The second stage belonged to Space On Tour for the first time and of course, we brought some of the best references of both electronic music and the island of Ibiza. And also, with uninterrupted sessions from 18:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

At 6 o'clock in the afternoon - with an eager audience of Space -, the party started with Gonzalo Menoyo, who heated motors to give way to Mario Biani - usual artist of the parties of elrow. B Jones, the artist settled for years in Ibiza, was the third to take control of the cabin, to give way to our first resident of Space On Tour, Javi Bora, who marked a great session. Elrow's resident DJ Marc Maya was the next to take control of the cabin, with his peculiar way of moving on the cabin made the audience come even higher. Karretero followed with an excellent session that left no one indifferent. It was then that the second resident of Space On Tour, Camilo Franco, who also celebrated his birthday.

At this time, the only thing left to do was to pass through the stage booth the night's the headliners from our Space On Tour stage. First was Coyu, the artist owner of the seal Suara finished of seducing the public to give way to the great John Digweed, that gave a good lesson of good techno to all the present.

Wish I Didn’t Miss You

27 años han sido breves,

Recordar lo bonito

Y poderlo soñar es para siempre

Estar con vosotros

Lo ha sido TODO!!

Gracias, gracias.

Yes, you made it happen. THANKS!

As everybody knows, last summer was our last season in the mythical venue of Playa d’en Bossa. After 27 years bringing to the crowd thebestofourselves we won again one of the most important awards in the electronic music industry: “Best Club in the World” by the prestigious specialized magazine DJ Mag.

It is true that this award is not new for us, in fact, last year we also won the first award, we have also received it on previous occasions, but that we win it in honor of the great effort that the Space team made in its last season, it cannot make us happier. And of course, that we achieve this recognition is thanks to the great team that has been behind Space, but above all, you have made it possible. It is you who have made us the most awarded club in the world and have made it possible for Space to be synonymous with "the mecca of electronic music".

Who was going to say to Pepe Rosello, who when he landed in Playa d'en Bossa that area was practically a desert and also, it seemed crazy to build there any business, that would manage to mark the beginnings and ends of season of the island and that millions of locals and people coming from all over the world, summer after summer, start a true pilgrimage to the club that made them feel at home.

We can only reiterate our pride and gratitude for these 27 years of undeniable love for music.

Thank you for making a dream come true.
