The main room of the club united the Space Closing Fiesta at 8:30pm. With more than 12 hours of music and 7 different performances, it was one of the hottest spots of the club. On the dance floor you could breathe the party and the characteristic good vibes of Space Ibiza

One of the most anticipated back to backs of the night was held between Luciano and Josh Wink. Although it may seem that their styles are quite different, they managed to merge into a single DJ until the climax of the dance floor.

Ben Klock: Pure German Techno

The responsibility to leave all attendees who dance through the closing of the room with a good taste, went to the referent of underground Techno, Ben Klock who spun a hypnotic set.

Visual Performance

More than 50 LED panels placed around the room surprised both friends and strangers, together with the open structure of the DJ booth and constant blasting of CO2 from the ceiling, endowed the main dancefloor with an explosive and impressive atmosphere.

The alternative of John Talabot

The Barcelona maestro returned to give us a lesson on how to select the best tracks of the electronic genre without faltering the attention of clubbers. The prodigy of Hivern Discs schooled us one more time.

Edu Imbernon

As with every great date this summer, Edu Imbernon returned to demonstrate why he is one of Spain’s talent with the most international projection. With an unprejudiced music session, he made us understand the reasons for his success.

Terraza - Space Closing Fiesta 2015

The legendary covered Terraza of the club lived a frantic journey in which it could shine its magic from beginning to end. It was here that some of the most memorable moments of the Space Closing Fiesta were experienced.

DSC6752 MG 3906Deep Dish exclusive date

Sharam and Dubfire gave the best of themselves on their only date of the season in Ibiza as Deep Dish. The Space Closing Fiesta was chosen event by the duo to spin the remixes that have given them so much worldwide fame.

Erick Morillo round 2

If anyone knows how to control the energy of the audience, that’s Erick Morillo. His second performance of the night was marked by various House hits and other hits of the nineties such as, ‘I Like to Move It’.

Carl Cox b2b Nic Fanciulli

A total classic of the Closings are the back to backs between Carl Cox and Nic Fanciulli. From 6am and until noon, the pair of aces infected their good vibes through great timeless songs that are already part of the history of Techno and House.

A sunrise to remember

Witnessing the sunrise on the Terraza of Space Ibiza is an experience that should be lived at least once in your life. When the sun began to creep through the small upper windows of the room, those present were teleported to the legendary Terrace of the late 90s and early 2000s which became the center for afterhours worldwide.

Even the employees dance at Space Ibiza

The Space Ibiza team said goodbye to summer 2015 celebrating the Space Closing Fiesta in style. Once finished with work and taking advantage of the sunrise, many staff members got on top of the bar, danced and enjoyed the moment with their colleagues for one last time. They deserved it!

The Sunset Terrace was the revelation room this past Sunday, October 4th thanks to its special guest, elrow Ibiza

At 5am the great secret of the night was revealed: special guest Eats Everything. The euphoria broke out in the Sunset Terrace with catchy beats by the British DJ.

Singermorning attitude

elrow, one of the most successful parties of the season, dominated the Sunset Terrace. Every corner of the room soaked with the singermorning spirit: fun and confetti in equal parts.

elrow and their big family

De la Swing b2b Toni Varga, Baum b2b Bastian Bux, Ion Pananides b2b Alex Pott y Marc Maya b2b Mario Biani converted the Sunset Terrace in the area of most collaborations at Space Ibiza. Proving once again that the guys from Viladecans are a big family.

Transformed the Sunset Terrace

The inflatables took over the outdoor Terraza of the club. Furthermore, its decor and characters finished moving the elrow atmosphere to the Space Closing Fiesta.

Funktion One sound

Just like with all the rooms of the club, the clear sound, clean and powerful sound of Funktion One allowed the DJs transmit their musical message in the best way possible.

Both the Premier Etage and the Salón completed the musical offer proposed by Space Ibiza for their closing. The motivation that the DJs detached and the festive atmosphere of these rooms were the alternative to the more crowded areas of the Space Closing Fiesta

The winner of last year’s Red Bull Residency enjoyed a unique opportunity to Space Ibiza to further reinforce his career within the industry. With a 2 hours set we realized that this young musician has a great future ahead.

Ramon Castells and Paul Reynolds, two classics

What would a closure of Space Ibiza be without two of its most classic figures? Ramon Castells and Paul Reynolds returned to be present on such an important night. The Funky sound reigned in their sessions, giving the best Motown sound to Premier Etage.

coolMachines, passion on the turntables

The duo made up of Jorge Moreno and Moy Santana is beginning to be recognized throughout the island. The guys from Valencia showed us during their session in the Salón there extensive knowledge of the current underground music sphere. That and the passion that distilled their set, they were certainly one of the most remarkable performances of the night in the Salón.

Federico Grazzini

One of the new icons of Italian electronica closed the room. Eclectic and amazing, Federico Grazzini is already a recognizable figure in the Ibiza scene.

A different environment

If anything characterized the party in these two rooms was the uninhibited and liberal atmosphere that lived in them. The Premier Etage and incredible views along the famous yellow tubular chair, and the Salón with its very particular aesthetic essence, proposed a different party to all those who came by.

As the blinds surrounding the dance floor that gave birth to the After Hours in Ibiza rise, you know you are experiencing something totally classic, especially if Carl Cox b2b Nic Fanciulli are behind the decks.

4. The outdoor stage

It’s the last chance this year to see the stunning display of lights and sound that Space Ibiza mounts in the back parking lot of the club. From 4:30pm until midnight, this stage will be the protagonist of the #SpaceClosingFiesta.

5. Inimitable

Space Ibiza returns to China on October 24th

Square

After the amazing success achieved last June 20th, Space Ibiza flights back again to celebrate another great party at the club MYST in Shanghai on Saturday 24th of October.

More than 1200 people attended last time and now they demand for more, so Space Ibiza returns to China to offer the best of Ibiza's nightlife. MYST club. that is part of the group SINO, is the perfect place to host a party that brings the real atmosphere and characteristic sound of the White Island. Considered one of the top 100 clubs in the world by DJ Mag, its facilities and sound system, lighting and 3D displays will delight the untamed electronic music lovers.

Although, this time there was nothing sad about saying “goodbye”, on the contrary… it was a celebration!

On Monday, August 28th Ferry Corsten returned to give everything as he did during each of his event dates at Clandestin pres. Full On Ibiza. Here are a few reasons so we hold on to the best memories:

1. Ferry Corsten never fails. One of the best exponents of Trance is Ferry Corsten, which is indisputable. If we also add to that statement, all the love and smiles he gives during all of his sessions, then we would entirely be captivated by his professionalism and personality. The Dutchman’s charisma shone again on Monday as expected. He couldn’t stop thanking his fans for their support during the season.

2. Short but intense. Summer has flown by and we barely caught all of it. It has always been said that when something happens fast it’s because you’ve enjoyed the most of it. Some sessions of 2015 have also become too terse, like Lucky Charmes who served as a warm-up to Bassjackers.

3. Commitment to talent from around the globe. Our language is music, we don’t care about the flags and nationalities. All DJs are welcome to Clandestin pres. Full On Ibiza. A great example is the Egyptian Aly & Fila, regulars of the night, presented at 04:15h their last hit ‘Napoleon’.

4. Youth are the future. You have to make way for the new generations and learn from these veterans. The duo who has just arrived from the TomorrowWorld festival, Bassjackers, entertained the evening with a strong set that highlighted their latest track, ‘Memories’.

5. We’ll always have the Sunset Terrace. DJ Ramón Castells has been faithful to the Monday party. Every night he has played the most diverse music and has helped give Trance lovers another option.

6. THIS DOES NOT STOP HERE. No one is going to be sad… Clandestin pres. Full On Ibiza is here to stay. We will reunite soon enough, but until then visit the Space Ibizawebsite to recall the best times of your life. Trance will return to roar!

The club returns to support the Ibiza sport with this sponsorship, that will help the career of this young competitor. Following the refusal from various entities of the island, Space Ibiza became his best ally in this new adventure.

Toni Prats career couldn’t be more promising. The member of the Club Nàutic de Sant Antoni at just 23 years has already achieved the title of Spain surfski K-2 sub 23 champion. He also won the third place in the Eurochallenge surfski sub 23 in Villajoyosa and has been victorious in several competitions in the Copa de España de Kayak de mar. He is as well the number 1 in its category in the Balearic Islands. For all these qualities, he is a part of the national team that will participate in the World Surfski Series 2015 in Tahiti next Saturday October 3rd. Prats’ dream will come true navigating more than 30km in that race.

As if that were not enough, he won the award for the best athlete of the year at the XXIII Fiesta del Deporte de Sant Antoni held on September 12th. The founder of Space Ibiza was present at the event to collect the best sponsor award for their unconditional contribution to the sports from the isle: handball, karate, judo, football, cycling, rally…

In this way, Space Ibiza reaffirms again its close relationship with the sport, representing Ibiza brand worldwide through the best athletes of the island.

Vagabundos say goodbye in style

vagabundos closing 017vagabundos closing 003vagabundos closing 020vagabundos closing 072The Vagabundos 2015 season closed off last night at Space Ibiza with a goodbye party full of energy and great vibes: Luciano and his gang looked back upon the summer on the Island with a big grin on their faces, enjoying the last dance of this leg of gigs.

The Cadenza man himself gave 110% on stage, his relentless clapping and waving unstoppable as his music: showcasing his selection of fat bass lines and synth melodies mixed with grooves, beats, a cappellas, shakers, congas, choirs and swings, Luciano made everyone move their body to the rhythm.

Ryan Crosson’s blend of House and Techno is inspired by the historical precedent set in his native city of Detroit and his adopted hometown of Berlin. His musical output is shaped by pioneering artists like Richie Hawtin, Kevin Saunderson and Moodymann in the US, in addition to European heavyweights like Pantytec, Ricardo Villalobos, and Thomas Brinkmann.

Situated loosely between these two defining poles, alongside his partners in Visionquest - Shaun Reeves, Seth Troxler and Lee Curtiss - Ryan delivers an obsessive attention to the constant progression of his sound and embodies a ceaseless energy that carries itself from the studio directly into his live set and DJ performances. Last night we had another proof of his amazing artistic skills with one heck of a set.

Meanwhile, Valentino Kanzyani warmed up the room with a catchy selection of underground Techno mixed with some old school favourites. Michel Cleis’s penchant for creating summer hits struck again in 2015: his Marvinello track co-produced with Klement Bonelli has already been described by Mixmag as “The Track Of The Summer”: taking inspiration from an old Marvin Gaye song, its absolute catchiness makes it a total dance floor monster. Sir Pete Tong himself gave this massive airplay last year and this summer again, creating a huge buzz for it. The track is out now on Rebirth…. Grab it and you won’t regret it!! Needles to say, when he played it last night in the Sunset Room, it went off with a blast, with the people on the dance floor going totally nuts.

Dani Casarano’s role as Melisma’s A&R, a label that has become a synonym of emotive soulful Minimal Techno, which counts on artists like Ricardo Villalobos, Thomas Melchior, Fumiya Tanaka and Satoshi Tomiie among its contributors and avid supporters, showed up in the sophisticated lush funky sounds and earthly Latin American undertones of his set, which truly captured the essential combination of tribal rhythms, perpetual swings and seductive musicality.

Cadenza’s rising talent and Nordstern Basel resident Gianni Callipari warmed up the Sunset Room early on to great effect: his deep, synth-infused melodies were spot on for the time he hit the stage. Throwing in some still unreleased material from his upcoming Cadenza EP was a great move: the crowd gave an enthusiastic response to the tracks, so things are looking good for the young DJ and Producer right now.

We are looking forward to next season. Till this moment, remember… Vagabundos they name us, Vagabundos they call us,Vagabundos weare! See you in 2016!

After 17 dates full of confetti, good music, crazy shows and great artists, elrowKehakuma came to an end on Saturday, September 26th. On their second season at Space Ibiza, the party revelation has settled as being a reference within the extensive Ibizan nightlife.

With a recipe that brings together two antagonistic concepts but complementary priori, Saturdays at Space Ibiza have dented many. elrow with their singermornings, impossible theme and that special way to give it all on the dance floor of the Main Room, facing Kehakuma and their love for the best music in the Terraza are already a classic. To all this, this year they joined KER. The former club of reference in Barcelona has added new life to the party from the Sunset Terrace.

To close this very successful season, elrowKehakuma prepared a festival in style with over 10 hours of uninterrupted music, more than 80 actors, 3 rooms  in operation and 19 artists where they emphasized names like Art Department, Anja Schneider, Fritz Kalkbrenner, Los Suruba and Eats Everything (special guest announced throughout the week).

With the club full to capacity and the Funktion One sound system at peak performance, Space Ibiza lived a farewell in style. The club experienced a big night where energy flowed through every corner of the dance floor and the music was again the protagonist. But who better than the resident DJs of both brands, Javi Bora and De la Swing, to tell us about the closing and settling this season?

Hello, how was your summer in Ibiza Javi?

JB – The truth is that it has been the bomb and a summer to remember! It was my third year as the official resident DJ at Space Ibiza spinning at the Opening, Anniversary, Closing and for parties such as Kehakuma, Vagabundos and Raw Change. Actually I’m thrilled to be a part of this great club and living on this beautiful island where I enjoy the music, nature and good vibes it offers.

And Kehakuma?

JB - Kehakuma has been really incredible, it has been running at full capacity from the first day to the last. A success! The lineup deserved it, it was really powerful and people have responded Saturday after Saturday.

De la Swing, how was your season?

DS – It’s my fourth season participating in Ibiza and contributing my grain of madness to elrow. I am very happy to live the tremendous evolution of the brand on the island. No doubt this season have been to frame and have noticed an improvement in many aspects. From my point of view, the music lineup with the whole international movement of the brand during the year (elrow on the Road), were the most important factors to put an end to an incredible season. The brand is buzzing!

But what is it to be a singermorning?

DS – It’s an attitude, adopted with some regularity that never hurts. Be yourself, allowing to lose yourself with the people, forgetting the day, being a protagonist of what is happening around you but without disturbing anyone, and transcending your good vibes.

Javi, what did you think of the 4 KOMPAKT TOTAL event dates on Saturdays at Space Ibiza?

JB – They have given Kehakuma a special touch. It is a major label within one of the best underground parties in Ibiza.

This year elrow has invested heavily on their residents adding many hours of set times at the party. De la Swing, what does that mean to you?

DS - Undoubtedly, this season the family has opted more for its residents and is a decision that has pleased us all in general. When you work for a brand and are a resident is very easy to stay in the background, and this is where your survival comes in. If you do not want that to happen, we must work more on the studio, perform on your own in other clubs and thereby earn your place in industry and other promoter’s agendas. So, having the opportunity to have more hours of September at Space Ibiza and hours is key - as in my case 4-5 closing sets is a great help with this great showcase called Ibiza.

How would you summarize the 17 elrow Ibiza dates this summer?

DS - I have had the opportunity to perform on 9 dates this summer and if I close my eyes I can remember a good time for each. Fun, entertainment, madness, illusion, magic and love was not to be missed. All this is the concept of elrow. It is very easy to summarize these 17 functions - This is elrow.

Javi, what has been the hallmark for Kehakuma in 2015?

JB – The label that Kehakuma always has… Quality electronic music and elegance in every way. A perfect combination.

Your back-to-back with Reboot has given a lot to talk about. How was it?

JB – I had a great time spinning hand in hand with Reboot. It was the first time we had b2b together and we perfectly understood each other from the first track we played. For me it was one of the most memorable nights this summer spinning at Kehakuma. It was really fun!

What do you think has been the summer hit?

JB – One of the tracks that I liked this summer was by Koze – ‘XTC (Original Mix)’ on Pampa Records. It made me smile and I really enjoyed dropping it various times this summer at Space Ibiza. It’s a track that I’ve received and put on my list of season favorites.

DS - Like the track for the closing set: Sandrino, Frankey – ‘Acamar (Original Mix)’ and and Axel Boman – ‘Nokturn (Grand Finale)’ worked very well the dance floor was at its peak.

Do you think you could summarize the elrow – Kehakuma closing party in 3 words?

DSI do not like goodbyes even knowing that it’s not a see you never but a see you soon. I felt nostalgic when the music stopped and said goodbye to the team until next year. Although that nostalgia is beautiful: it is what you feel when you do what you like. In 3 words? Madness, happiness and nostalgia.

JB – For me it was magical, powerful and elegant.

Thank you and see you guys next year!

JB – Thank you and see you soon.

DS – Until next time.

Now we just have to wait all winter long to once again enjoy elrowKehakuma at Space Ibiza. Until then we expect you to remember what you experienced thanks to the photo and video albums which you could find on the Space Ibizawebsite, and the Facebook pages for Kehakuma and elrow.

Until next summer!
