More than 10 hours of partying at the Closing of elrow - Kehakuma
On Saturday, September 26th the most anticipated event of the season will take place: the Closing of elrow – Kehakuma! The two most popular parties in Ibiza will unite for one last time this summer to prepare an unprecedented party.
More than 10 hours of music at the hands of 18 DJs in 3 different rooms, 10 theater companies with more than 100 actors prepared to upend Space Ibiza. Two different concepts together to provide the best party experience that you can imagine.
Kehakuma strongly commits to the last 5 sessions of the season by Fritz Kalkbrenner. The duo Los Suruba, Javi Bora and the b2b between Tania Vulcano and Jose de Divina will accompany the German at the legendary Terraza of Space Ibiza to close a season full of success.
On the other hand, the elrow line-up is headed by a “Very Special Guest” which will be joined by 3 other guests: Acid Mondays, Anja Schneider and Art Department. Also present, residents Marc Maya, De la Swing, Toni Varga, George Privatti and Mario Biani in a party full of confetti and the rowera attitude.
As if this were not enough, Ker will reunited great artists at the outdoor dance area of the club, the Sunset Terrace. Illusion Records Showcase, Tom Craven, Alex Pott and Ion Pananides will make us dance all night before the announcement of a special guest.
Everything is prepared at Space Ibiza to close the season of this very peculiar union on September 26th. Buy your tickets for elrow – Kehakuma and do not miss out on one of the most impressing closings to date.
Carola debuts on the Space Ibiza’s Terrace at Carl Cox Music Is Revolution
Well week 10 for us definitely ended on another high! Carl was back at the club after missing last week and was joined with yet another A-list line up, probably one of our biggest of the season.
From early doors over on the Sunset Terrace Ibiza Sonica Radio were hosting Music For Freaks Justin Harris. Perfect house grooves from the word go from Justin got the Terrace warmed up nicely for the, Space regular, Elio Riso. Rounding up the night was local hero by the name of Andy Baxter, his regular 6 hour sets are becoming legendary in these parts and yet again Andy didn’t disappoint.
Over in the main room it was the job of Carlo Lio to start off the proceedings. Effortless from the start Carlo dipped in and out of Deep House, Tech House and into Techno. With tracks on Cocoon, Desolat, Intec, Bedrock and gigs already in the bag at places like BPM, Sonar, Music On, you could see why he was the perfect man to warm up for the eagerly awaited Nina Kraviz.
Nina stepped up to the booth and didn’t disappoint! The Russian techno dj and accomplished producer was one of our highlights of the season. Kraviz is becoming one of the most in demand artists in the world right now with her signature sound so it was a pleasure having her play in the Main Room until it was time for the main man to take his place.
The time was now 3.30am and Carl Cox is now in control of the Main Room at Space Ibiza. The room is packed (again) full of his ever increasing army of fans and even at week 10 Carl still has foot firmly on the gas and it doesn’t look like he will be slowing down anytime soon. Carl is still a champion of Techno, a Dance music pioneer and king of Ibiza. This is why people flock to Space Ibiza week in week out on a Tuesday.
Over on the covered Terrace it was time for Elio Riso to take up his second set of the night. Elio layed down some serious House music in preparation for another highlight of the night and of the season. Marco Carola has never played the Space Terrace before so we knew this was going to be another memorable one. He has been tearing the roof off his Music On night at Amnesia every week so we expected the same here at Space. Relentless from the first beat to the very last Carola definitely didn’t disappoint on his Terrace debut.
The man in charge of following after Marco and closing the Terrace was down to Israeli dj and producer, Guy J. Having establishing himself as one of the most sophisticated and emotive producers in the electronic music of the last decade, we were all excited to hear him play. Guy had already played on the Carl Cox boat party earlier in the day and was now back for round two to do more of the same on the terrace. Like all the other artists, Guy J didn’t disappoint by dropping into melody-rich and emotionally charged house music until the lights came up.
Finally over on the other floors, Emerging Ibiza were back looking after The El Salón room with Theo Kottis, Gel Abril and Greg Brockmann. Up on the Premier Etage floor we had another queen of Ibiza by the name of Clara Da Costa and this time she has brought Dogmatik’s Alex Arnout with her. Clara’s ‘Jacks House’ party is one of our highlights of the season on that floor; both Clara and Alex were on form throughout the night, which stayed open until just before 6am.
As you have read and possibly witnessed Tuesday party, this was yet another sell out and another night for the history books. With only 2 more weeks to go before the season finishes you would be crazy to miss out… Buy your tickets and scream “Oh Yes Oh Yes!” with Carl Cox, Pan-Pot, Jon Rundell, Eats Everything and many more on Tuesday 15th September.

The perfect blend between latin rhythms and Techno at Vagabundos
Grey skies and a touch of rain on the Island again over the weekend, but Luciano warmed up the spirits in true Vagabundos style yesterday at Space Ibiza!
The Cadenza man and Cesar Merveille delivered a stunning All Night Long B2B set chock full of big room tracks and loud beats: Luciano’s trademark mix of a capellas, grooves and melodies was met with great cheers by his fans in the Terrace, closing the performance with his terrific rendition of Rebelski’s “The Rift Valley”. Merveille’s stylish choice of tunes from his Roche Madame label was another highlight of the set, delivering a nonstop selection of what he calls “food for the mind”. Impeccable performance by these two guys together.
Sophisticated was the key of the night for the Vagabundos main guest: the talented pianist turned Techno virtuoso Francesco Tristano graced the crowd with a superb Live Set of ethereal sounds, playing a good number of his most acclaimed tracks he has released on the likes of Planet E, Innervisions, CLR and Visionquest. Nice to see the description he gives of himself on his Facebook page is “piano in space”.
Dandy Jack’s association with Vagabundos dates back to the very early days of Cadenza and Luciano’s career: embodying the sound of Latin America’s House and Techno, he brought these influences over to Europe through the Berlin scene, sowing the seeds of what became almost a genre in itself. Having him on stage in the Sunset Room last night was a truly unique experience.
German House DJ diva Julietta opened up the Sunset Room from 10 to Midnight with her usual flare and fine selection of Deep House records. Those long sessions behind the decks at Club der Visionäere in Berlin have definitely proved her right and helped her shape her taste in hooking the listener till the last minute.
Buy your tickets for Sundays at Space with Luciano and do not miss the penultimate party of the season with Luciano, Mirko Loko (live), Chica Paula and many more next Sunday 20th September.

elrow – Kehakuma squeezes the summer until the end
Little by little it becomes evident that the 2015 season is starting to come to an end. As a reminder of this, in Ibiza the rain has been present for weeks and it is now necessary to wear a sweater at night. But do not panic! There is still a bit of summer left at Space Ibiza to keep dancing, smiling and listening to great music until October 4th. The best example of this was the last elrow – Kehakuma, where the mixture of modern music with the Singermornings cheerful and crazy attitude returned to reunite in the installations of the club in Playa den Bossa.
In the Sunset Terrace the DJs that made the audience dance all season on this dance floor was reunited in the hand of Ker. Ray Okpara, Samu.L and Ion Pananides were chosen as music captains of the night. With the stars of the Ibiza night sky as the roof, the music was the perfect counterpoint to the madness of the Main Room and the clubber ambiance of the Terraza.
The main room of the club was set in true 40s style. Pending the arrival of Paco Osuna and his 6-hour set, Toni Varga greeting the audience that packed the Main Room by midnight. It is true that his set lasted just 1 hour, but it is more certain that he ignited the dance floor to leave the audience eager for Paco Osuna and from that moment the rest was history. The Catalan spun all night long, showing his vast concrete experience with his residencies such as ENTER. He left a great impression to all the rowers who danced to his tracks until dawn and was ratified as one of the leading country headliners.
Meanwhile, the Terraza experienced a b2b night at Kehakuma with Josh Wink,Steve Bug, Reboot and resident JaviBora. The first act to go on was Reboot and Javi Bora, sealing a set worthy of remembering. Within the 2 hours and a half performance, the two DJs moved the dance floor to their liking. Hit after hit the audience did not stop dancing to the tracks these two artists dropped. In their last appointment with Kehakuma, Josh Wink and Steve Bug put all their eggs in one basket with a powerful Techno session where we heard the track “Denial Eyes Closed Mix” included in the Space Ibiza 2015 compilation.
In short, another great Saturday night in Ibiza. Pending the closing party that is being prepared by Kehakuma – elrow on September 26th, we still have a great party next Saturday where Kölsch (dj set), Michael Mayer, Miss Kittin, Matthias Kaden, Jay Lumen and De la Swing among others, will once again repeat success at Space Ibiza. Buy your tickets for Kehakuma – elrow and squeeze every bit out of summer.
Glitterbox: countdown to Closing
With the end of the summer season fast approaching, it’s time to reflect on what has been an incredible few months of parties for Glitterbox at Space Ibiza, and to look ahead for what the Closing Parties have in store.
Glitterbox has enjoyed a revelatory sophomore year. The opening party reviews were exemplary and things have only kicked on from there. Glitterbox’s unique fusion of classic and contemporary soulful dance, backed by imaginative theming across everything from Mark Wardel’s glamorous promotional artwork to the arousing dance moves of Sink The Pink (one of a number of rotating crews), has fitted Space perfectly, like manicured hand to sequined glove. The Glitterbox crowds have happily swelled whilst the Friday night soundtrack continues to impress.
That’s in no small part down to line-up. From the crunchy, anthemic highs of Todd Terry’s opening party set back in June to more recent travails with Fatboy Slim, shaking some serious disco booty, and Basement Jaxx, whose energetic double-act this August reached absolute fever pitch upon final play ‘Where’s Your Head At’, Glitterbox has constantly surprised and delighted. It’s ‘anything goes’ flamboyance harks back to Ibiza’s earliest dancefloor beginnings; a mission statement warmly embraced by other star performers this season including Joey Negro, Roger Sanchez, Hercules And Love Affair, Purple Disco Machine, Norman Jay, Julio Bashmore, The Revenge, Kings of Tomorrow and so the list goes on....
As do the parties. There is still life in Glitterbox 2015 yet. Last night’s party was another triumph, with sets from The 2 Bears, Lovebirds and Opolopo all proving to be late season highlights. Next week, the penultimate party headlined by Soul Clap paves the way for a magnificent Closing Party on 25 September featuring, fittingly, Todd Terry once again, not to mention Gallic groove master Dimitri From Paris, edit king Greg Wilson, Horse Meat Disco and DJ Pippi. Buy your tickets for the end of the season and expect the crowd to leave screaming for more in 2016.

When the end of a season is full of success, great songs and hours of dancing, let us give you one last tip from Space Ibiza: the music goes on until #SpaceClosingFiesta. Therefore this weekend we have prepared three amazing days in the club of Playa den Bossa.
Friday, September 11th – DEFECTED boss gets behind the wheel of Glitterbox
Simon Dunmore will climb into the DJ cabin of the Terraza of Space Ibiza to make us dance in the most uninhibited Disco party of the White Island, Glitterbox. Surely we will hear more than one hit from the Glitterbox 2015 compilation at the set of the label honcho from London.
The 2 Bears, Lovebirds, Opolopo and Andy Baxter complete the line-up of Friday nights at Space Ibiza. A plan full of great vibes and class behind the DJ decks.
Saturday, September 12th – A double ration of b2b and Paco Osuna all night
Kehakuma presents an extravagant sound program with a double ration by Josh Wink b2b Steve bug and the German Reboot b2b Javi Bora. Two performances, four names and the legendary Terraza make-up a 100% Space Ibiza night.
For their party, the singermornings will have as master of ceremonies the national maximum exponent of Techno, Paco Osuna. With an all-night set that exceeds six hours, the Catalan will give a broad overview of his repertoire to make us dance in the Main Room of Space Ibiza.
Sunday, September 13th – Vagabundos acoge a Francesco Tristano
The Terraza of Space welcomes for another Sunday the Vagabundos family headed by Luciano. The revelation party of the season returns to wave the flag of experimentation to make us dance the last day of the week.
Francesco Tristano (live) is the guest of honor for the week at Sundays at Space with Luciano. The Luxembourger will leave more than one person with their mouth open thanks to his capacity to mix distinctive sounds such as Jazz and electronic music, from 2 am.
Remember! The party continues in September at the most awarded club of all time, don’t miss out the opportunity to experience a Space WKND and buy your tickets on the Space Ibiza website.

Five names for the night at Clandestin pres. Full On Ibiza
When there are three dates left for the season finale of the quintessential Trance party of Space Ibiza, Ferry Corsten, Dimension, Thomas Newson, Island of Trance DJs and Ramón Castells demonstrated that the music will not stop being played at Clandestin pres. Full On Ibiza until next September 28th.
Dimension
One of the most important Spanish figures in the genre opened the Terraza of the club. The DJ & producer lit the wick of sound on Monday at Space Ibiza with a session that was characterized by a mix of melodic Trance with Progressive sounds.
Ferry Corsten
The genius of Rotterdam had two complete hours of set. From 1:30am until 3:30am the Terraza was swarming with people jumping and raising their hands to the sound of the best songs of the summer, where he highlighted the hit “GAMMA GAMMA”. The entire dance floor felt that sensation that runs through your body when you know something big is coming upon hearing the first beats of the song.
Thomas Newson
The Dutch DJ repeated in the DJ booth of the Terraza for the second consecutive week. This young talent is one of the most talented on the international scene and showed it throughout his session. His recent track released in mid-August “Summer Vibes”, popped the dance floor with its catchy vocals.
Island Of Trance
Meanwhile the Ibiza collective Island of Trance had the opportunity to star in the early evening in the Sunset Terrace with two b2b. Mark Landragin B2B Messy A and Alex Ryan B2B Glynn Alan demonstrated that Trance is slowly returning to good health in Ibiza.
Ramon Castells
Always reliable in the DJ booth, the resident of the club Ramón Castells, returned to give a master class in front of the decks. His good vibes, joy and great music selection encouraged the Sunset Terrace throughout the evening.
Good music, great artists and the best club of the world united with only one mission, to make everyone dance until their body can’t take anymore. The next event is already marked on the calendar, are you going to miss it? Buy your tickets for Clandestin pres. Full On Ibiza and live the last of a great season with Ferry Corsten and his friends.

Luciano is back at the Space Ibiza Terrace
Roll on September, and Cadenza Vagabundos kicked off the last month of its summer residency at Space Ibiza with a bomb gig. For this last leg of the season’s gigs, Luciano and his cohorts are back on the Terrace and its more intimate environment.
Argentinean vinyl virtuoso Ernesto Ferreyra warmed up the dance floor with his trademark funky burst of South American minimal sounds and uptempo bouncing chords. His remix of Francesco Bergomi’s Ayxo (released on Minibus) was the highlight of the night, with tracks from his Best Buds EP and Some Kind Of Sign album also causing some big cheers from the crowd.
dOP’s flamboyant performance was met with great acclaim by everyone in attendance: the trio’s vibrant analogue Live Set made up of a bunch of synthesizers and drum machines mixed with vocalist JAW’s crazy singing antics kicked some ass as it was impossible to stand still while they were on. To add some more exclusivity to their gig, Luciano’s upcoming single on Cadenza, 7Direction(s) features JAW’s on the mic. Watch out for this one in late September.
And with this track Luciano opened his set last night: its catchy vocals and luscious melody surely proved a high point of the night, with the Cadenza man also playing a number of oldies but goldies like his remix of Argy’s Love Dose.
In the Sunset Room, Digitaline (now only comprising Laurent Bovey in the lineup) was on top form: the Swiss man’s organic Techno-meets-70s Psychedelia sounded as good as ever, with a few soon to be released gems added to the set list to please the most discerning fan.
Luciano, Francesco Tristano (live) and many more artists are waiting for you on next Sunday 13th September at Space Ibiza. Hurry up and buy your tickets for Sundays at Space with Luciano!

elrow-Kehakuma: connecting electronic universes
Three areas, three different parties. That’s elrow-Kehakuma, a night where the variety, quality and fun go hand in hand in any environment you choose. On September 5th three different stories with a common purpose were linked: to get the attending audience discover the exciting world of Space Ibiza on Saturday.
KER club – Sunset Terrace
The French-Ibizan DJ Ion Pananides was responsible for opening the electronic music event. From 11pm, the underground sound merged with the most festive atmosphere in which the audience could dance, play games like Twister (passed by the filter of elrow) or simply relax outdoors. The talented Greek And.id and creator of the hit ‘Plastik’ Simon Baker accompanied Pananides throughout the course of this first date in September.
elrow – Main Room
‘The Singermornings’ party returned again to transform the Main Room of the club into something totally surprising. Every Saturday, the guys from elrow are capable of creating a different universe where the decoration and the animation team are fundamental – also the inflatables and confetti – to enhance the good feeling that is experienced.
Mario Biani climbed into the DJ booth where you could see a giant red pair of sunglasses typical of the themed evening on its highest level. The flow of the resident DJ was received with hands in the air and a whole lot of cheering. At 1:30am, the Italians of Supernova seduced Techno House lovers with their strong proposal that left everyone exhausted but wanting more.
After the duo, the desired back to back of the night had arrived. The luminaries of the scene Riva Starr and Technasia presented their most recent work: ‘In My Soul’ and ‘Voice of God’ by Starr and ‘Obsession’ by the Parisian, is just one example. The harmony between these two lasted until 5:30am when Marc Maya took control of the CDJs.
Maya gave to elrow fans exactly what they asked for at those hours of the morning: fast beats that made any singermorning on the dance floor jump. The most contagious music did not stop until the sun came out to say goodbye to a night full of emotions.
Kehakuma – Terraza
The Terraza opened at 1am to welcome the most modern music of the island. With only an hour behind the decks, the Spaniard Javi Bora demonstrated with care a repertoire in which he dropped his latest collaboration with Los Pastores, ‘Sex & Drugs’, the track to be released on the label Oblack018 at the end of this month.
It was about 2am when Fritz Kalkbrenner took the stage to start his penultimate live performance of the season. Immersed in the promo of ‘One of These Days’, the Berliner was able to guide the audience on a musical journey through the different tracks that have marked the history of his career as a DJ and producer.
After the duo, Edu Imbernon left everyone impressed with his impeccable skill to choose the sound that best suited the atmosphere and mood of the clubbers. As always, everyone enjoyed the best Techno and House music.
Los Suruba – the last Spanish representatives of the night – are a safe bet and the audience knows it. Every track they dropped were danced to uncontrollably until the closing. Among them, they selected tracks from their September chart on Beatport.
There are only three dates left to discover the world of elrow-Kehakuma. Buy your ticket and live the party with Paco Osuna (all night long), Steve Bug b2b Josh Wink and more artists next Saturday, September 12th.
Opening Party 2016 (05.29.16)

Saturday, September 5th – Riva Starr b2b Technasia + national talent
