DANNY MARQUEZ WEBThe job of a resident DJ takes great skill. They set the direction of a whether a night in a club will be good or bad. Danny Marquez is one of the Ibiza Calling resident Djs and is one of the leaders of the great nights we have had this season. Follow him!

What does it mean to you to be one of the resident Djs of a club like Space Ibiza? Is it a heavy burden of responsibility?

For me it is a great privilege to be part of the Space Ibiza family which is, of course, a big responsibility. If you represent Space Ibiza you have to do your best always and you can't afford to make mistakes.

Residents of Ibiza clubs of the 80s were the creators of the renowned Balearic Beat. The guests Djs of Ibiza Calling have a very closed EDM profile, a phenomena that has had its explosion in recent years. How do you link these two concepts?

To be honest my current sound is more EDM than Balearic Beat, but I can't forget my Balearic roots and the influence of that sound will be forever strong in my career.

Camilo Franco and Ramon Castells are the other Ibizan resident Djs of Ibiza Calling. Tell us something special about them.
