All great adventures start with a first step. When, back in the Middle Ages, the mighty Duke of Bavaria built a bridge over the Isar river, he surely did not imagine that that bridge would become a great metropolis – and the capital of one of the wealthiest regions on Earth. This is how the story of Munich began. Nowadays, almost a thousand years later, the ancient German town is a modern, cosmopolitan city with a taste for arts and music. And it’s precisely music what will fill the Neuraum club next Friday, October the 17th as the Space Ibiza 25th Anniversary tour will land in the Bavarian capital with the electrifying DJ BL3ND and the promising Gelab.
Munich’s Neuraum club is a large, downtown club placed near the famous Augustiner ‘beer garden’ and perfectly connected with the city by public transport. The club offers four different areas with room for over 2000 people, including the main stage with huge LED screens and several smaller bars to enjoy the best electronic music in a more intimate way.
DJ BL3ND
DJ BL3ND is a mysterious DJ born in Texas who now lives in California. His meteoric artistic career began in raves and private parties, where his striking Dubstep and powerful Electro House beats lifted crowds of all kinds. His powerful sets, whom he uploaded to the Internet, made him famous in the US and his fame soon went beyond borders. Nowadays, DJ BL3ND has taken his unique, mind-blowing style to many clubs from all around the world – including the global number one, the legendary Space Ibiza.
GELAB
Convinced since his early years that music was his reason to be, Gelab was one of those kids that spent their childhood with headphones stuck to his head, preferring the latest Dance hits rather than Football games and cassette collections rather than card collections. Over time, his taste for production was extrapolated to the dance floor where, at the ripe age of 16, he discovered another fundamental character of the electronic music scene: the DJ. After several years defining his technique and searching for his musical style, Gelab found in EDM his flagship sound, which he is the most comfortable with, not only producing but also in his sessions. Despite his youth, Gelab has already played at the most iconic dance music events, such as Space Ibiza’s Closing Fiesta, Miami’s Ultra Music Festival or Space Moscow’s resounded Opening Party, sharing booth with the best artists of the international scene.
