KURD MAVERICK LIKE THE LEGEND OF THE PHOENIX Featured

kurd-maverick 533 oKurd Maverick knows how to rise from the ashes. He knows how to reinvent himself track after track, it is an effort that not everyone can do. Kurd returns to the Space Terrace with new music, the experience of a veteran and the energy of a rookie.

You have released tracks as "The Rub", "Let's Work" and "Love Sensation" among many others, but which do you think was the most relevant in your career?

I think it is a process you have to cross. Its starts with my first record/remix for "Pump Up The Jam" and from that point I had the attention from the dj's all around the world. After that you have to keep up to do good records. After "Love Sensation" and "The Rub", they were both essential new tunes on Pete Tong's show 2 weeks in a row, which nobody have done this before, I finally arrived.

You started your career over 15 years ago. Has the industry changed so much since then?

The people are changing and of course the quality of the music as well. There are new kids coming up and you can definetly hear a difference in the quality of the productions. They were well ellaborated.

"Hell Yeah" was one of your last success tracks. Can you tell us something about the track?

I listened to an old Daft Punk radio dj set and they played this old Chicago house track. I just got this idea to produce my own version of that track and then i started to search for the accapella. This song was made in a couple of hours. It is very often that you do good songs in a short period of time. You are not getting bored of listen to it 300 times. We released this track via Spinnin Records and after Jermain Dupri contacted me and he wants to do also his own rap and we decided to do another up to date version of Hell Yeah.

Let us know some reasons to go to Space Ibiza to listen to your set.

I can make you move and try to give you something that u cant hear in every week
