Space Ibiza, worldwide club and brand respected inside and outside the borders of Ibiza, has won the award for Best Club 2012 by the prestigious electronic music Vicious Magazine. Camilo Franco, club’s resident DJ and producer, has been finalist in the category for Best House Artist.

Space Ibiza, considered one of the best clubs in the world since its beginning in 1989, has been recognized by the audience and by the media as best club in the world for 10 times and as best club in the country for 4 times from 2001. Positioning Ibiza as a destination reference for all dance music lovers, Space Ibiza is a global clubbing representative scenario, both by the awards received as the support from DJs, artists, industry members and the unconditional public who, year after year, revisits the White Isle.

Pepe Roselló, founder of the club and native from San Antonio de Portmany, has dedicated a lifetime in body and soul to the world of leisure and musical entertainment. Also being one of the key motor pieces that move the island, Pepe Roselló wanted to dedicate a few words to the magazine, "I want to convey my personal gratitude to the Vicious Magazine and its professional jury for this award as well as the fascinating from hard work and dedication Space Ibiza’s staff throughout these years. Space Ibiza leads the leisure season in Ibiza. The success of last summer, starting in May with the Space Opening Fiesta and ending in October with the Space Closing Fiesta, the two most mentioned dates of the club, has lived through multiple experiences, stories and anecdotes. After eleven seasons during Tuesday summer at Space Ibiza, the King of Techno Carl Cox presented his new "Revolution Recruits" concept. The most established and successful party of the club and the White Isle, awarded several times. Undoubtedly, the revelation party of this summer and being awarded as Best Party 2012 in the VMA by professional jury, was the collaboration ENTER.KEHAKUMA with four rooms inspired by the music, sake, technology and experience. This new concept has been introduced by the renowned artist Richie Hawtin with his fellows Barem, Luciano, Sven Vath, Magda, Troy Pierce o Marc Houle. The veterans parties We Love, Ibiza Calling, Be, Café Olé, and the singular Beat & Raw joined the 2012 summertime programming.

During these intense 23 years, the club of clubs par excellence wanted to expand the musical project from the mother brand with Space Sharm el Sheikh (Egypt)’s opening in 2010 and the recent inauguration of Space Menorca (Spain) in 2012. New spectacular new franchises are still to come; on Saturday December 29^th will take place Space B. Camboriú’s opening and in 2013 two more clubs will open, Space Dubai and Space New York. In the words of its founder Pepe Rosello, "That’s what music is about; it surrounds you and doesn’t let you escape". No less important is the international club’s tour with Space Ibiza On Tour and its Ibiza Calling, Be, Kehakuma and Café Olé parties around the world after summertime.
