Space On Tour in Alicante: A SUCCESS!

Space On Tour was this weekend in a new edition of the Spring Festival, specifically, last Saturday 20th May. The festival takes place in the port of Alicante and this May has held its ninth edition.

The festival, which had two stages with very different atmospheres, remained full since the early hours of the afternoon. In one of the stages played some of the best groups in the Spanish landscape as Love of Lesbian, Fuel Fandango, Sandness or Viva Suecia. The second stage belonged to Space On Tour for the first time and of course, we brought some of the best references of both electronic music and the island of Ibiza. And also, with uninterrupted sessions from 18:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

At 6 o'clock in the afternoon - with an eager audience of Space -, the party started with Gonzalo Menoyo, who heated motors to give way to Mario Biani - usual artist of the parties of elrow. B Jones, the artist settled for years in Ibiza, was the third to take control of the cabin, to give way to our first resident of Space On Tour, Javi Bora, who marked a great session. Elrow's resident DJ Marc Maya was the next to take control of the cabin, with his peculiar way of moving on the cabin made the audience come even higher. Karretero followed with an excellent session that left no one indifferent. It was then that the second resident of Space On Tour, Camilo Franco, who also celebrated his birthday.

At this time, the only thing left to do was to pass through the stage booth the night's the headliners from our Space On Tour stage. First was Coyu, the artist owner of the seal Suara finished of seducing the public to give way to the great John Digweed, that gave a good lesson of good techno to all the present.

The Godfather of UK of the UK House scene, DANNY RAMPLING is one of the most instrumental figures in the House music scene. While no introduction is necessary, but for the uninitiated; listen up. Danny Ramping is without question, the backbone of the scene that exists today, and has much to do with why we party. Rampling brought his taste of Ibiza back to London in the form of rave and iconic event “Shoom”. Giving birth to the acid house music movement, as we know it.  With a resume that reads as long as our arm, but know this. I you think you like house music, watch Danny Rampling – be schooled and be truly entertained!

1.21.41.11.3We spend much of our lives waiting. For true love, the dream job, for the friend who’s typically late… But there is something that arrives on time every Saturday: elrow-Kehakuma. The most exciting and cutting-edge party on the island will never fail, it will always be there to cheer-up your night.

Smiles and more smiles. Happiness reigned in the Main Room of elrow where the ‘The Singermornings’ show occupied every corner of the room. With the familiar red sunglasses and the endless desire to see the guest DJs, attendees mingled in an atmosphere of madness where good cheer was the prevailing sentiment.

Mario Biani and his commitment to Techno House at more BPMs than the usual stood as the perfect welcome. At 1:30am one special guest took the stage that many did not expect: Eats Everything. The Englishman ate up the dancefloor with his excellent command of the electronic genre and received a more positive response from the audience.

Then it was time for the Brits, Richy Ahmed and Russ Yallop. Their back to back brought out the strongest points of every DJ seeking that the Deep House genre was the sound that dominated the set. They did not miss the last remix of ‘Back in the Dark’ by Di Chiara Brothers and produced by Yallop. Finally, the most rowero flow returned in the hand of Toni Vargas, making the closing the perfect farewell for the singermornings.

The collaborations were the protagonists of Kehakuma. Javi Bora and Jose De Divina opened the Terraza with more confidence than ever. It is noted that this season they have performed several times together and their great harmony was appreciated in the session.

At about 2:45am, the Tiefschwarz brothers joined Khan to deliver a compelling live performance in that riskier melodies were heard at night. Among them, ‘Do Me’, their collaborative track that launched in May and has excellent depth in the scene.

They say the third time’s the charm. For Steve Bug and Josh Wink that saying means nothing because they always win. After their two previous performances at Kehakuma, we could say that this was one of his most powerful performances. The most crude and organic Techno rang late into the morning, exciting the demanding clubbers that were present.

Surrounded by elrow games and characters, KER at the Sunset Terrace reaffirmed his distinguished musical selection thanks to Ion Pananides, Alex Pot and Solvane & Wasted Ruffians

Now you have to wait until next Saturday, August 15th to dance to the rhythm of Fritz Kalkbrenner, Joris Voorn and Victor Calderone. Buy your tickets already for elrow-Kehakuma at Space Ibiza!

RAW CHANGE, the most surprising night of Ibiza

photos RAW CHANGE 2015 07 15 aphotos RAW CHANGE 2015 07 15 cphotos RAW CHANGE 2015 07 15 b

After the success of the Ibiza Gay Pride, RAW CHANGE came back to Space Ibiza last July 15th offering its transgressive proposal of every Wednesday.

So many feelings were felt that it is almost impossible to summarize in just a few words. The Sunset Terrace opened at 11pm with Vallès, the young DJ from Ibiza that is getting more attention for his performance at Sonar and the releases of his EP ‘St.Lucía’. His House with touches of Jazz became the perfect prelude to the peak that would arrive much later.

Between spectacular Drag Queens, Juan Gomez and Yan M! Kale adapted to the environment that was illogical in any corner of the room and accelerated the rhythm of the music.

Already in the Terraza, David Moreno and his proven expertise to choose the hottest tracks – DJ at Ibiza Global Radio – increased the energy of an audience that wanted to lose their minds if only it were for one night. With the emergence of the Valencian Edu Imbernon – one of the few Spaniards who have spun at the Coachella festival – the madness was completely broken. ‘Spectral’, his latest track with Droog was received with a flood of arms into the air.

Finally, one of the major artistic duos on the island this summer, Javi Bora b2b Jose de Divina, managed to reach the clubbers uninhibited musical climax. The combination of the Balearic beats by Divina and the exquisite selection by Bora was the magic touch to this magnificent closing.

The attraction between RAW CHANGE and your mood to party continues. Buy your ticket for July 22nd at Space Ibiza and agree that you will come to enjoy sessions by Chus+Ceballos, Wally Lopez and many other guest DJs.
