THE MOMENTOUS CLOSING OF CARL COX – THE REVOLUTION RECRUITS Featured

After a momentous season with the most impressive line-ups yet, of the masters playing alongside the freshest, most dedicated, hardworking DJs on the scene, we’re about to hit the climax and closing party of Carl Cox – The Revolution Recruits.

Week 12 sees an extra special, spectacular line-up led by king of techno and most loved man in electronic music CARL COX, with LOCO DICE, TINI, DJ SNEAK, YOUSEF, JON RUNDELL, TOM PEPPE, DJ CALLUM, SCOTT GILES, MATT MOORE, SAM WALKER, REECE BRETT, EOIN SMYTH and MARLON GORDON.

The Revolution Recruits came into summer 2012 with a huge bang and the promise that it was going to be eclectic, loud and unforgettable – and it fulfilled every inch of that promise and way, way more. Bringing such a varied and respected bill of artists to the table is no easy task but Carl and his team in collaboration with Space Ibiza pretty much blew away any expectations week after week with unconditional legends like Fatboy Slim, Dubfire, Laurent Garnier, Sasha, Josh Wink and many more, as well as a whole host of fresh names that Carl hand-picked this year to join his army.

Surprises were in abundance with undoubtedly the biggest being the history-making, one-off performance by Masters At Work who united simply because it was the great man’s 50th birthday celebrations. Well, one of many celebrations! A few delicious hours saw Louis Vega and Kenny Gonzalez take over the Terrace and a transcendence of heart pounding mixes of real and raw house fused with jazz, funk, soul and pure passion, educating even the youngest clubbers as to why Masters At Work still sit amongst the giants.

To complete the 12 weeks of sheer musical pleasure, Carl has invited his top-level friends Loco Dice, the talented tINI and “self-proclaimed house gangster” DJ Sneak to close the season with definitely more of a sound barrier busting explosion than a bang.

One of the most prominent House Music defenders since the early 90s, DJ Sneak, will be rocking out the “disco-influenced house and tough, jacking beats” that have somewhat revolutionized house music over the last 15 years and made him a favourite of…..everyone!

Doors to this party open at 8pm on Tuesday 18th September and despite the fact we never want to say goodbye to Carl and his crew, this event is going to be an epic mash-up that will be talked about for years. Fact.

See you there for history in the making.
