With Glitterbox entering the final month of its 2015 residency at Space Ibiza, time is running out to experience the party that Skiddle recently described as “what dreams are made of”. Case in point: last night’s party, which saw a very special and rare headline set from Sandy Rivera as Kings Of Tomorrow, alongside Aeroplane, John Morales Mo’ Funk and a live PA from Barbara Tucker. Once again, the vibe was extraordinary, with these house music legends providing a jaw-dropping soundtrack of classic and contemporary music you’d struggle to find anywhere else in the world, let alone Ibiza.

Here are just a few things that went down last night:

Barbara Tucker declaring “I am house music… and you are beautiful!!” to a tightly packed dancefloor before embarking on an extended version of her own ‘Beautiful People’. Is there a more positive song and powerful voice in house??

John Morales doing some serious crate digging in a set that spanned the decades but paid particular homage to 70s disco gems direct from the underground. Tracks of particular note included his own edits of The Jones Girls ‘Life Goes On’ and Chic ‘I’ll Be There’: pure disco heaven.

Sandy Rivera dropping his latest masterpiece as Kings Of Tomorrow alongside April, ‘Burn So Deep’. Proper, vocal house music at its very finest, and proof that class is permanent.

A set of classic and contemporary house and disco from Aeroplane, who’s masterful sequencing had the Terrace enthralled from start to finish.

The welcome return of the Hot Heels dance crew, who put on another dedicatedly debauched performance, as well as wrapping themselves around  any willing dancefloor participants, raising the dancefloor temperature another few degrees in the process.

Buy your tickets for Glitterbox at Space Ibiza and be ready for another amazing night on Friday 11th September.
