RAW CHANGE #2 was the perfect excuse to welcome the month of July with the celebration it deserves. On Wednesday, the doors of Space Ibiza opened once again to shoot the most extravagant movie of the island with characters with a lot of prestige: the most uninhibited clubbers.
From recognized Drag Queens and dancers to the most provocative personalities who seem drawn from a Dadaist script, none of them could escape from being the center of attention at any given point in the evening. See and be seen, that is the premise of all those who participated in RAW CHANGE.
The musical direction of such blockbuster was conceived by a select representation of the most respected DJs in Spain. At 11pm Valentin Huedo started playing a session with a lot of personality, among the hits we heard one set taken from his latest EP ‘Here Comes’. Behind him, radio icon Igor Marijuan composed a House inspired soundtrack ideal for the ambiance of the Sunset Terrace.
When the entire Terraza was ready to lose control and find their most exciting side, Camilo Franco arrived with his unparalleled style stringing hit after hit. Kaleshy was the DJ responsible to warm-up the most legendary room of Space Ibiza and Camilo knew how to take advantage to pull off his session.
Wally Lopez climbed into the DJ booth at 3:30am while attendees weren’t sure if the movie they were watching was comedy, science fiction or simply pure reality. The artist from Madrid was in top form and showed it with a brilliant set where you could hear some of his acclaimed remixes. Amid achieving quality hits, attendees could not stop dancing and intoxicate themselves by the colorful atmosphere around them.
The climax of this crazy welcoming to July - with lionesses and witches included – came from the hand of Rafa Barrios and his unpretentious Tech-House. His objective was clear: to not let electronica fans stop having fun as ever before. That’s exactly how it went, until the end there was no one who stopped moving to the beat of the music.
It looked like the end of a movie with an incredible plot, but no… RAW CHANGE will continue with its third party on July 8th to celebrate Ibiza Gay Pride.
