Dita Von Teese returned to dazzle audiences in Ibiza last night with her new show, The Opium Den, presented for the first time in Europe.

The most famous showgirl in the world did not disappoint anyone. She pleased her audience once again, undressing astonishingly in the most elegant way as she knows best. Like a dragon woman, the undisputed queen of burlesque appeared on stage wearing a dazzling Asian dress embroidered with thousands of Swarovski crystals. Lying and smoking a huge, smoky opium pipe, also decorated with the same crystals, entered an exciting delirium that led by an elegant and a sinuous dance, all of her clothes parted slowly. Dita finally entered a delirious exciting frenzy, where four mysterious erotic hands contacted her body until she exploded in a shower of rose petals.

Dita Von Teese, one of the world's greatest icons of fashion and elegance, high fashion model and undisputed queen of Burlesque, performed last night before several thousand people at the Café Olé party in held at Space Ibiza. Dita is already one of the most anticipated international artists on the island every summer. Since she first came to Café Olé in 2011, her memorable appearances at Space Ibiza were expected by fans across Europe and the Middle East, it is very difficult to catch her perform for the general public outside the United States. And also for the first time, with two performances in one season, returning to Café Olé on Monday August 18, with a different show.

Dita Von Teese presented last summer at Café Olé her show 'Rhinestone Cowgirl', a performance inspired by the iconography of American Western movies. Hats, cowboy boots, corsets, mechanical bulls and country chords. A provocative show that professed to show the less serious and more playful part of Von Teese. In 2011, she first came to Space Ibiza with her show 'Bird Cage', where, as a bird of paradise and within a gilded cage, performed a sensual striptease finishing with an erotic shower.

Last night she released for the first time in Europe, her show 'The Opium Den'. It is a tribute to American burlesque of the '40s, heavily influenced by the aesthetics of oriental courts. To Dita "eroticism and sensuality have little to do with external beauty, it’s more about cultivating other facets about yourself.” "There are a number of factors that together make for a sensual and erotic person," says Dita.

It all started in the 90s when she recreating fetish photos of past eras, discovering pictures of her idol, Betty Page. Fascinated by connecting high beauty and glamor with issues that were taboo and risky, she began to strengthen her burlesque side. Although it was not until her marriage to the eccentric singer Marilyn Manson that brought her fame to public.

She is an actress, model, singer, designer lingerie, perfume creator and writer, but above all, a showgirl. She has captured half the world with her suggestive dances appearing on horse carousels, a wide range of the world's largest feathers, five million dollars in diamonds, giant martini glasses and ostentatious golden cages, but as always, the most sensual piece of the entire show is: Dita Von Teese.

It is very hard to see America’s Heather Sweet, real name Dita in a show which the public has access to, as she only performs for private events. In Europe, her last public appearance before lavishing in Space Ibiza, was years ago at the legendary Crazy Horse cabaret in Paris. Thus, Café Olé is a unique opportunity to see the artist's most important asset, burlesque. She usually appears on the covers of Vogue, Vanity Fair and Playboy, but rarely in a live performance as she has done for Cointreau, Martini, Victoria's Secret and Louis Vuitton. Von Teese began her career in small electronic music clubs in Los Angeles. Her interest in the scene has led to her recently collaborating with the electronic duo Monarchy, to great success thanks to the single 'Disintegration'. Her merge with electronica has already made Ibiza an essential stop on Dita’s the summer calendar.

Should you miss her show last night or love to meet her again, don't panic! You can still buy tickets for Café Olé, as Dita Von Teese will be back to Space Ibiza on august 18th.
