Dita Von Teese renews her love for Ibiza Stripping in Café Olé

Dita Von Teese. The Opium Den @ Café Olé. Space IbizaWorld Queen of Burlesque presents next Monday in Space Ibiza, exclusively and for the first time in Europe, her show “The Opium Den”.

Dita Von Teese, one of the world's greatest icons of fashion and elegance, hyper listed model and undisputed queen of Burlesque, will perform on Monday, July 21st at Café Olé, presenting for the first time in Europe her exclusive show, "The Opium Den". Dita is already one of the most anticipated international artists each summer in Ibiza. Since she first came to Café Olé in 2011, her memorable appearances at Space Ibiza are expected by fans across Europe and the Middle East, it is very difficult to see her perform for the general public outside the United States. And also for the first time, she’ll perform on two dates for the season, returning to Café Olé on Monday, August 18th, with a different show.

Dita Von Teese presented last summer at Café Olé her show 'Rhinestone Cowgirl', a performance inspired by the American Western movies and iconography. Hats, cowboy boots, corsets, mechanical bulls and country chords. A provocative show that purported to show the less serious and more playful part of Von Teese. In 2011, she first came to Space with her show 'Bird Cage', where, as a bird of paradise and within a gilded cage, performed a sensual striptease and finished with an erotic shower.

On Monday, she headlines for the first time her own show in Europe 'The Opium Den'. It is a tribute to American burlesque of the '40s, heavily influenced by the aesthetics of oriental courts. Again, Dita revalidate her world crown queen of burlesque and number 1 artistic striper in the world, stripping to the public of Café Olé. For her "eroticism and sensuality have little to do with external beauty is mesmerizing other facets of yourself." "There are a number of factors that together make a sensual and erotic person," says Dita.

And it all started in the 90s when recreating fetish photos of the past, discovering pictures of her idol Betty Page. Fascinated by connecting the high beauty and glamor with issues that were taboo and risky, began to strengthen her burlesque side. Although it was not until her marriage to the eccentric singer Marilyn Manson that made her fame public.

She is an actress, model, singer, lingerie designer, perfume creator and writer, but above all, showgirl. It has captured half the world with its suggestive dances that has appeared on horse carousels, the range of the world's largest feathers, five million dollars in diamonds, giant martini glasses and ostentatious golden cages, but always, the most sensual piece of entertainment is: Dita Von Teese.

It is very hard to see the U.S. Heather Sweet, real name Dita in a show in which the public has access, as she only performs at private events. In Europe, her last public appearance before lavishing in Space Ibiza, was years ago at the legendary Crazy Horse cabaret in Paris. Thus, Café Olé is a unique opportunity to see the artist's most important asset, burlesque. She usually appears on the covers of Vogue, Vanity Fair and Playboy, but rarely in a live performance as she has done for Cointreau, Martini, Victoria's Secret and Louis Vuitton. Von Teese began her career in Los Angeles, performing for small electronic music clubs. The interest in the scene has recently been collaborating with the electronic duo Monarchy, to great success thanks to the single 'Disintegration'. This union with electronics has made Ibiza an essential stop on the summer calendar Dita.

Buy tickets for Café Olé, or VIP passes, and be seduced by Dita Von Teese at Space Ibiza on Monday, July 21st and August 18th.
