I suppose so, it depends– you have to pace yourself.

There is no formula to create a hit that I know of. I think that it’s a magic combination of inspiration, words and m...

Maya Jane Coles from "Lives in London" DJ & PRODUCER

she’s a hard lady to metaphorically get a hold of, that maya jane coles. when she’s not in the studio producing or remixing tracks by the greatest talents in the business, she’s scooting off around the world to show people what she’s made of behind the decks. not that we need much convincing really, her recent performance at space ibiza left us in no doubt as to the power of the girl from london. productions, potential and talent- she’s got them all coming out of her ears. we dragged her away to a zen place to talk about her loves and passions…

interview Riva Starr

interview Riva Starr How was it playing Carl Cox at Space?
I love Space and I love the Carl Cox party – it’s one of the best parties on the island, if not the best! There’s always a good vibe and good fun!

You played on Space Terraza, what kind of set did you play?
I played a groovy set, quite energetic, with lots of new tracks that are coming out on my label Snatch!

You are also playing Space in September for Come Together, Space’s most eclectic night with DJ’s from all genres. Which artists do you like or listen to outside of house and techno music?
Well I used to listen to a lot of different kinds of music. I’m just getting into the indie electronic genre at the moment. I used to listen to a lot of rock back in the day, so I really like to widen my musical culture,...

Inerview Miss Kittin

Inerview Miss Kittin You’ve been associated with We Love for some time now, what do you think of the party this year?
I think it's even better than last year. To keep this level of quality for so long is a very exhausting challenge. I know they had up and downs, their work has been difficult with the crisis, but they are back on track, and they do it with so much love, they deserve it.

You had a bit of a French theme going on when you played the Terrace in July. How was it playing alongside Dan Ghenacia and Ivan Smagghe?
Of course, a huge pleasure. I was actually honoured they would think about such a line up. It's not really about the fact we are French, but friends first of all, respect each other a lot, and share a certain idea of DJ’ing. We definitely represent a particular aspect of the French scene.

Wo...

So guys you are back in Ibiza this summer for a residency on the Space Terrace, what have the We Love parties been like so far?
They've been great. Working our new Red Light show on the terrace has been a lot of fun.

Yes your Red Light show is new for summer 2011. First of all, could you talk us through the light concept that started with your ‘Black Light’ album last year?
Well I can try. Black Light was the livest album we've made. There was no real 'concept' behind the name, it ...

Interview Nic Fanciulli

Interview Nic Fanciulli Tell us about how you've become involved with playing at Carl Cox's night at Space Ibiza?
Carl invited me to come and play one of his gigs on his night and I fell in love with it and 2010 was really really cool as I get involved in bringing people in on the terrace, I had Dubfire come in and do one, I also had LTJ Bukem come and do one and we had a Saved party on the terrace that was at the end of the season. Yeah, this it the 10th anniversary the thing I like about it is it’s a lot more of a mixed crowd; a lot of European, Spanish, German, Italian as well so the vibes always on.

You mentioned he’s doing his 10 years of parties at space this year, what for you makes Carl Cox a great DJ? What attributes does he have and why has he maintained his popularity with the younger and newer audien...
